http://www.ablogs.com/Think-Tank-E3-2005-5-24.mp3 (26.19MB; download) -- This morning we begin our journey on empowering the Podcast listener. There is potential choices and options in the new communication architecture that empowers interested listeners to interact in a big way with the new medium called podcasting. The discussion about and the plan about the intergration of these options needs to happen right now and it needs the input of the listeners! Do you want to be seen as a follower, consumer, just another "ear drum" that is lead and put in your place (as before) by the content producers or do you want to have your fair part of the new communication conversation? These are the facts and the decisions that are being decided right now. Choices we the listeners need to be part of. But who is offering and talking about the listener's potential? Surely you don't expect it to be coming from the content providers!! If your thinking you need to be a podcaster to join in you are wrong! Did anyone ever mention in their podcast the potential and the impact of their audience - the listener in the new medium? Lets be creative and start the conversation ourselves that empowers us the listeners beyond text comments that have little if no impact in an audio world. I start the journey by discovering and discussing a Podcast interactive listener tool name Gigadial - www.Gigadial.com. Gigadial empowers you to be a content producer without ever talking into a mic or creating a podcast. I share some of the techniques I use to build and produce the "The Daily Podcast Feed" a daily list of 15 new podcasts. Selected by: Andrew Grumet [ stations ], Wed, 01 Jun 2005 16:15:33 UTC

CalacanisCast #4: Is podcasting a business? (plus a little Dave Winer rant at the end) (12.32MB; download) -- OK, trying to keep the podcasts a little shorter. Episode IV is on podcastingbusiness or hobby? Plus I do a little
rant about Dave Winers position that no one should make money from podcasting
and blogs (except of course him, since he created it what a hypocrite).
