The bottom line is that the teachers and education leaders recognize that the only way to prepare children for a rapidly changing world is if teachers are able to adapt to change and do it with insight, purpose, reflection, and a lot of information. I tell two stories in this podcast, one from Seymour Pappert that most educators have probably already heard. But, since many of my listeners are not classroom teachers, but parents and other community members, I want to bring home the point that although much has happened in the last decades and the last century, how we define the job of teaching has not.
