Add this to another station Knowing the Truth Radio Program: Grudem: Voting as a Christian (25.24MB; download) -- The first segment of the program today, I will speak with Emily Belz, from WORLD Magazine re: her recent article entitled, 'DOMA's Day of Reckoning'. In the article Emily writes, 'In the noisy days after the Supreme Court issued its healthcare decision, the Obama administration filed two cases with the high court challenging the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). The July 3 filings gained little attention but they, coupled with disagreement about DOMA among lower courts, mean the Supreme Court is almost certain to take at least one case on marriage this fall.' During the second segment, I will be joined by Dr. Wayne Grudem. We will discuss his book, entitled, 'Voting as a Christian - Social Issues'. Writing about the book, Dr. Grudem notes: 'This 218-page book contains the chapters on the protection of life, marriage, the family, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion from my larger book Politics — According to the Bible. It also contains a shortened overview of the early chapters on biblical principles for Christian influence on government in general.'
